Facility Information

  • Four two-story wood-framed wings
  • Wood construction
  • Exterior - finished with cement-asbestos shingle siding
  • Relatively flat roof, coated with gravel
  • Interior - divided into divisional and functional areas by the arrangement of the wings
  • Walls of the vaults and the adjacent stairwell framing and the floors and roof of the central part of the building were made with reinforced-concrete fire-resistant construction.
  • Heating - by the area steam distribution system and forced-hot-air duct system with ceiling outlets
  • Air conditioning units
  • 12-inch-thick concrete block masonry fire walls
  • Automatic sprinkler system with exposed piping for fire protection
