Starting in 1953, the Portsmouth Gaseous Diffusion Plant distributed newsletters sharing recent happenings with their employees. A newsletter was an easy way of communicating with the thousands of people on site. Little did they know that those very newsletters would serve an important role in educating future generations about the Plant; the emergence of great leaders, the change in the local economy, and the foundation that was put into place that led the Portsmouth Gaseous Diffusion Plant to where it is today.
